HIGH-PERFORMANCE COACH & TRAINER

Former Canadian Equestrian Team Member, Tricia is a High Performance Coach, the top coaching designation with Equestrian Canada.  Tricia is one of only 3 High-Performance Coaches in Alberta in any discipline.

With over 40 years of coaching experience, Tricia has a passion for helping students of all levels improve their communication with their horses and develop their equestrian skills.  Her coaching style is based on rider/horse dynamics and extensive knowledge of equine behaviour.

Tricia was a recognized Equestrian Canada Dressage Judge for over 10 years, a Cross-Country Course Designer and a Level II Technical Delegate with Eventing Canada.  Preferring coaching to officiating, she now focuses on her students and brings these additional elements as a knowledge base to her coaching skills and program development.

Some of her competitive achievements and highlights include:

  • Competed for Team Canada in 1999 at the Pan American Games, placing 5th in dressage and 10th overall

  • Short-listed for the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia

  • Placing 16th at the International Rolex CCI*** in 1999 with Calling All Cars, a thoroughbred she purchased off the track and developed herself to the top level of the sport.
